I love seamless and their business model (sit and do nothing and watch the cash roll in)
and was very surprised to learn that they are owned by Aramark, a food service company, not owned privately or by an internet co.
Could not find what % of the company they sold for the $50m, however did find a figure that ball parked their revenue at $400m. I doubt however that they were valued at an FB-like 50x rev!
interesting how GS and JPM were advising aramark..for a 50mm stake...
I hope this doesn't fuck with my $25/night. Crushed some serious Lemongrass Thai earlier. With something like 400 places that deliver to Midtown I can fatten myself up for over a year without ordering from the same place twice...
What are your favorite places to order from on Seamless Web? I never have time to read the reviews but so far I haven't gone wrong ordering from places with a high rating.
I prefer Energy Kitchen. Also, Fuel Grill just opened up but I've yet to try it. Looks pretty good, though.

I walked past there once. "Energy food"? What the fuck does that even mean? Granted orgo is the reason I'm in banking and not medicine, but I was under the impression all food gets converted to energy...
My alma mater used Aramark services. The food was O.K. but WAY overpriced.
