Tbh..anyone who would fall for such a thing should hate themselves. What did she do to deserve a dinner? Chivalry is dead and woman killed it remember that and live by it and this will never happen to you.

Words to live by.

Goes to show how many desperate men there are, but I'm willing to bet this girl gave something in return... Ain't nothing in life for free.

I just feel bad for the guy who ends up with this chick. If I met her and she showed legitimate interest and then told me about this short-term plan I would kick her to the curb.

It's all about bargaining power and she doesn't have much in a relationship if she can't pay her rent + bills, so something like "whoring" yourself out for dinners will push it over the edge.

... and that ladies & gentlemen is man code

Eh, it's all fair. For every chick scamming for a free dinner, there are a 1000 dudes scamming for a quickie. Seems like a fair trade to me. This is not new - my girlfriend in college used to get free drinks all the time at bars, and more often than not, she would pass them to me 5 minutes later after the guy realized he wasn't leaving with her. So basically, I was just as bad as this match.com chick, except I was using my gf as a proxy.

Wow, who takes a girl out to an expensive dinner on the first date? Casual cocktail or two at a spot with good people watching is the way to go. It lightens the mood, makes for good conversation and won't break the bank.

what part of "no more than five dates with the same guy" makes you think these guys were taking here out to Megu on the first date? Anyone who does that likely deserves to be taken advantage of, or is rich enough not to care, but what this chick did is just absurd.
