Aspiring Entrepreneur!!

New member here, joining the vibrant community of WallStreetOasis!! First of all, I would like to congratulate all the members for contributing to this ever-expanding wealth of information around, i believe, every aspect of finance known to man (at least to me...:) ).

Few words about me.
I initially discovered this site, some 8 months ago, by accident (a.k.a. Google search) when I was first introduced to the idea of physical trading by some potential business associates. As I didn't have ANY financial know-how background at the time (or any clue about trading and all that stuff), I started looking into the subject and, lucky for me, I landed here!!

Although it took me some time to realize (from a layman's POV) the fundamental aspects and differences of trading, brokering, on paper or physical etc. etc., I was positively overwhelmed by the wealth of information lying in these waters!!

Which is one of the things that bring me here after all that time. In those months, I read a few trading books and grew an interest in that subject. And I returned to quench my thirst for knowledge!!

The other would be my personal quest towards innovation and entrepreneurship. I started to delve, some time ago, into the deep waters of A.I. (as an extension of my CS background) and have come to a point where I want to focus my skills and efforts into a specific area, in the context of developing a practical product/application.

My first thought was to combine all my interests, so here I am researching the in's and out's of trading and maybe other financial activities, as well as (and perhaps, more importantly) the usability and "power" of the tools that contribute to a practitioner's success.

So, if any of you have any thoughts or insights about my endeavor, and better yet, any practical needs or complains that arise in your daily routine due to the current state of affairs, I would be more than grateful to hear about them in PM or be directed to the sources that address them.

Setting aside the numerous hurdles to entrepreneurship. Why wouldn't you work for one of those companies as a software engineer? Rather than devoting an enormous amount of time into a product that may or may not work. Or apply to any of the top tier prop firms and see if they'll bring you on.
