Average returns on oil investment

Hey guys, pretty random question but I'm trying to figure something out. Does anyone know the average return on oil investment? Also what the average returns are for gold/silver arbitrage. Thanks

The drilling company drills it for $10-20 per barrel, sells it to you and me $120 .. Of course Bush makes a couple dollars per barrel(MINIMUM 2M Per hour) from every oil company who made him a president, and Vice president, Do we even have one?
