Booth might be a tad bit of a stretch, but you never really know. The ranges and averages on the website are just ranges and averages because there is no one specific profile. Realistically, you are probably looking at the tier of schools right below Booth, so more like Columbia, Darden, Fuqua, maybe Kellogg, Stern and the like.

As I'm sure you know, it is going to come down to how well your application essays are and how well you interview. Looking at it in a very simplistic manner, you might be able to stretch and get into a top 7 school, probably fit the profile for the 8-14 range and could possibly consider the 15-21 ranked schools as more of a 'safety'...though those don't really exist.

I'm going through the application process now, with more of a focus on the 8-14 schools, with some 15-21 ranked schools as my 'safety net'. If there is one thing you need to do right at this point is to slay the essays. I think the key, if you are close to fitting the school's mold, is to show them that you are a capable leader, that you will be successful in life at anything you do and outline why you need/want your MBA, what getting that MBA will do for you and why getting an MBA from THAT school is important. In many ways these schools are training ambassadors for their program/institution and they aren't going to be inclined to pick someone that will represent the brand poorly...so keep that in mind as you write your essays.

Lastly, also consider why you want to go to Booth so bad and if you are a good fit. There is no doubt Booth will open doors if their name is on your resume, but so will other schools. Remember that you are going to spend two very intense years of your life in one place, so make sure it's a place with people you want to be around and a place that will encourage you to perform at your very best.

Now win one for The Gipper!! LOL.
