Bank Debt/Leveraged Loan Investing
Hi I'm interviewing with a CLO loan shop with a BDC out in New York and was wondering what the career progression is and if there is flexibility in this type of product. I know that distressed funds tend to recruit people from high yields and sell side leveraged finance. I'm just wondering if investing in leveraged loans is pigeon holing myself since it's a lower risk product. I have experience in equities but want to see what the exit options for this type of role is.
To clarify, a CLO investment team within a BDC?
Yes. It would be investing in bank debt
Bump Anyone?
