Bank Presence on Capitol Hill?

hey do any of you know any firms who have offices in DC that focus on dealing with the government? Specifically regulation...sort of like an internal lobbying firm?

I know Lehman had one because they recruited on campus, but I haven't heard of anything similar at another bank. Particularly with TARP/possibility of pseudo-nationalization there has to be tons of firms propping up dealing with this.

any ideas?

The new administration seemed determined to lessen the influence of lobbyists, but with TARP and the stimulus package, every major industry is trying to align themselves for the next handout. The larger banks have actually employed their own lobbyists for a long time and are merely stepping things up since Bear Stearns. With that in mind, I've not really heard of them hiring undergrads straight out of college for this, as lobbying requires a kind of specialization and built-up network far different from traditional banking.

Perhaps someone with a better understanding of the Washington lobbying scene can chime in.
