I was wondering if there are an investment banks who will consider candidates with a 2.2 degree especially in M&A

why would they when there are so many people with 1sts & 2.1s, many of whom have all the relevant internships etc?

Saying that, I know someone who got accepted into a Fund Management Accountant /Analyst role in small/medium investment management firm (after ~ 1 year of post graduation experience), got his CIMA and has subsequently moved after 2.5 years into a cushy Associate position with an insurance firm, despite having a 2.2 at graduation.
