Baruch College VS Fordham University?

Hi, I'm a senior in HS and I'm trying to decide where to go for college. I want to study finance but I'm not sure what to go into. Maybe IB and I know these two schools are not target schools for big companies but which one would be better? Which business program is better? Which one has gets more recruitment? I'm leaning a little bit towards Baruch but only because I did a quick LinkedIn search on its students and alumni but I'm still not sure.

I know it is ridiculously hard to transfer into Stern but I would give it a shot. What do I need? 3.8 + gpa, internship experiences, club activities, networks??? I want to start building up my network but I don't know where to start. I've been searching for summer internships at banks but most of them require either a college degree or someone who is in college.

Getting an internship right before college can be pretty tough. You should see if you have any friends who's parents work in finance and offer to work for them for free/shadow them over the summer. I wouldn't focus on building up your network just yet ( your still in HS, so pick your school and take some time to enjoy life before you go off to college). Once you get in you should make a clear strategy on how you would get into IB or transfer over to NYU. The few people i've seen transfer over to NYU had excellent GPA's, leadership positions/extra curriculars and if you had low SAT scores it would be worth retaking them ( don't focus on that unless they really weren't that good. If you can connect with someone in admissions, they can probably provide you with more info.
