Base Pay for Ops

Fuck OPS its for the labor of the lazy you'll never get out of it!!!! Stay Away!!!!!!!

Not all people wants to work 100+ hours per week. Plus without ops, there wouldn't be trading or the settlements of inflow of revenues.

Dont listen to these guys, its just the usual of them trying to wind you up. Someone will pop up sooner or later with a better answer than these two clowns.

i believe it was 55k at the BB i work. they did not bumps up ops with the other depts.

lol 55k... that's worse than tier 2 consulting. Ops really is bad.

Ops used to be 60k base + 10k bonus for Citigroup, now it's 55k with no bonus, but you get overtime.

Operations isn't that great, but if you have no other choice take it. The future is yours, and it's what you do with the opportunities that are given to you. Work hard, work smart, develop the right connections, and you can get out of it in a couple of years and maybe go into trading.

People say it's a dead end job, but in reality, it's a dead end if you don't apply yourself and work for something better.
