Obviously the third scenario is best. So, if anyone has heard--or knows anyone who has heard--either way, it would be great to know so we can rule that out!

I just interviewed with their NY office this past Friday 10/28 and didn't hear anything Friday night. A friend who got an offer last year told me she heard back same night. Then again, a friend that got an offer with the Chicago office heard back the following Monday.

I guess the general rule of thumb is that the likelihood of an offer goes down with each additional day.
