Beginning my Career in Securities Lending
Hi, I just accepted my return offer from my internship in securities lending (part of the sales & trading division) at a BB bank and starting in the summer of 2017. I've read the knocks on securities lending are that it's not a true trading seat, and the work is not as analytical. honestly, i am not very sure what career path i want to take, as iBanking, PE and HFs all seem appealing, as does S&T.
if i am to make a career change at some point down the road, to investment banking, a PE or HF, how likely would this be without going to business school or getting a CFA? any advice on how i should try to position myself as i begin my career would be greatly appreciated!
