Best Job to Learn Investing

Hi, new member here. To give some background info, I'm 19, currently applying for college and I've been immersed in business from a young age. Had 3 failed businesses, currently starting a new one. My goal is to become an investor in the future.

However, I have been struggling with figuring out how to get to that point.

If my main goal is to learn how to be the best investor I can possibly be, what jobs in the finance industry should I be focusing on?

Sometimes it seems like getting an IB or HF job, just to learn how to invest is, for the lack of a better word, the complicated way of doing things.

But on the other hand, working in the finance industry at first will probably allow you to learn from the top people and get access to mentors you otherwise wouldn't have met. Also, investing with someone else's money and learning that way is safer.

Should I focus on getting a job in the finance industry? If yes, what jobs would be the best option if the main focus is to gain investing experience?

If there are any other reliable ways of learning how to invest without trying to land a job in finance, what do you recommend?

I know I might come across as a little naive or ignorant, as most of you are experienced individuals and a problem like this one might sound simple, but this question really has been occupying my mind lately.
