Rank these Internal M&A groups (corporate development groups) !!! please
Could anybody rank these corp dev groups/ internal M&A groups please?
GE
Nationwide
Cardinal Health
P&G
American Electric Power (AEP)
Limited Brands
Thanks again I really appreciate the help!!
"Rank" meaning what....
In term of activity, I'd venture to say that GE is probably the one with the best deal flow. Also, probably provides good stepping stone to (and from) IBD.
That said, P&G and Cardinal Health are probably both interesting places to work too.
thanks and this means the ones that have a great deal of activity ( think WaltD) the larger ones, the ones that pay better etc. The ones that are safer (Deal flow)
Thanks again it is very appreciated
I appreciate everybody's help thanks again
I appreciate everybody's help thanks again
wht up :D
Stop spamming, it isn't doing you any good.
Funny how WSO gets a weekly megafund ranking, but we have no comparisons on corp dev exit opps
I dont think any of these companies hires undergraduates in internal M&A.
I know I was just wondering after IBD analyst (2-3) years
i'd go to unlimited brands
they don't hire undergrads for FT.. but they do for hire undergrads as interns for the M&A

Can someone please provide me a list of the top corp dev groups out there? Ones that do a good deal of M&A deals and are less focused on partnerships/contracts.
google, walk disney, jnj, baxter, cisco, boeing, davita, raytheon, and barclays are a few. would be nice to get a robust list on wso divided into different industries.
Thanks. Also if people know how important these groups are within their respective organizations that would be helpful as well. For instance, Disney's group seems like a key decision maker for the whole company and has the CEO's full trust.
I heard really good things about Disney Corp Dev. I would assume if Facebook or MSFT had groups that they are active.
Also you can look at big pharma/F500 healthcare venture groups
Amex SP.
