Best Guide to Prepare for Consulting Recruiting
Hello all,
I am interested in finding a full time job in consulting during next fall's recruiting cycle. My previous internship experiences have been with a small manufacturing company and a F10 company working in finance and both only had standard behavioral interviews. I know that consulting interviews are much different, focusing on case study interviews that test critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills.
So far to prepare, I have read Case in Point and familiarized myself with their 12 frameworks. I have also started practicing mental math as frequently as possible. I was planning on doing a case everyday this summer, but I was also wondering if any of the guides on the internet are very helpful? I know vault.com, WSO, and managementconsulted all have guides and I was wondering if you all think they are worth the $ and time? Also, which might be the best?
If you all have any reading suggestions that would be fantastic as well. I just finished Lords of Strategy and found it to be pretty informative.
Thanks!
