Best Restructuring teams in London

For the European monkeys out there;

Which teams seem be doing best in the restructuring space nowadays? Am I correct in assuming that these are mostly HLHZ, BX (or PJT already?), Moelis, Lazard and maybe Rothschild? Will BX restructuring guys stay after merger with PJT?

Which of them seem to be having the best opps in distressed/special sits kind of funds + PE?

Radiohedge.

PS: used search function but mostly outdated info

Not "maybe Rothschild", but put Rothschild in the top 3 for EU.

While hard to weed out the differences, the definition of "best" is arbitrary. Largest deal volume? Most complex deals? Corporate only or sovereign (i.e. BX on creditor side (Franklin Templeton) vs Ukraine)? Debtor or creditor side? Firms you listed are all solid.

All of those will enable you to interview for distressed opportunities. It comes down to the candidate at that stage.

Good luck
