Big 4 transaction services hours for associate

I was reading an article on TS in a Scandinavian country. The article says hours are 50-60 week. Would this as well as pay be similar in the U.S.? Anyone with specific knowledge on the jobs hours/work life balance would be greatly appreciated.

I have worked in TS in both Denmark, Finland and Norway and those guys usually work 8-6 on normal days, maybe a few more hours on days before reports were due. Sweden, on the other hand, normal days would be 8-8 or 9 with longer days, even all-nighters, before reporting. I currently work in TS in a central european country where we work similar hours to Sweden. I also often work with US teams and I would say they work slightly less than us so maybe 9-7 on normal days and a little bit longer hours before reporting.

I dont know know enough about pay in TS in the US so cant compare.
