Hi guys, I've been given an internship opportunity for the NYC office in Deloitte and PwC in their M&A Advisory arm, which deals with metrics such as EBITDA, working cap, net debt, etc. For those that are familiar with this practice, I wanted to get some input on which firm you would choose and why. If you guys have any further insight into exit opps, compensation, etc., please feel free to share. Thanks for your input!

There are many groups that can be considered "M&A Advisory". Are you talking about the banking groups? FDD? Technical accounting M&A groups like CMAAS at PwC? If they are the same group and you're trying to decide between the firms, just go with whoever you liked more through the recruiting process. The comp/exit opps, etc will be (nearly) identical. The big 4 are literally clones of eachother. Nobody cares which one you work at (unless it's KPMG...lol) unless you're a biased college student and think that the best firm was the one who 'dominated' your particular campus.
