Does anyone know if BlackRock's Advisory & Strategy is their front office? The name of the business group does indeed sound like a front office... but here is an internship opportunity in their Financial Markets Advisory group, which is a part of their Advisory & Strategy group:

The Financial Markets Advisory group helps financial institutions, long-term investors, finance ministries and central banks address their most difficult, and interesting capital market, balance sheet and regulatory challenges. -Expertise: Combines the strategic mindset and creative problem solving of a financial consultancy with the asset expertise of an investment bank. AS AN ANALYST YOU WILL:
-Prepare presentations for pitching new business, write proposals, communicate project results, and provide updates on portfolio performance
-Act as a liaison among internal working groups including financial modeling, analytics and portfolio management
-Develop performance and cash flow projections for large portfolios of securities and loans
-Communicate directly with clients to present results and address requests and questions
-Perform quantitative analyses in support of client engagements
