BlackRock GPAS Interview, Any Advice?

Supposedly it is for an analyst position within the Green Package Services team (GPS) whose responsibilities include understanding risk analytics on our fixed income, equity and alternatives products to help our clients and portfolio managers understand their portfolio exposures, strategy, risk and returns. It says it will give extensive training and development, so can I expect some really technical questions. I'm a little rusty on my finance, any good articles/books to read to prep. Any help is much appreciated and thank you for any help

I think its very back-officey, don't quote me on that though. Maybe a little more MO because of the heavier analytics?

edit- and it's in Wilmington, DE correct?

Yeah it's in Wilimington. It does seem back office supporting their risk reporting technology, but it says to have an understanding of different types of investments, I'm just wondering how much of it will be technical. Like different investment strategies (spreads, straddles). I'm leaning towards no, just because the software figures out most of that for you,

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, I recently got the exact same interview. OP did you end up declining the job? How did the interview go? Feel free to PM me if you feel it's not worth discussing on the thread. Thanks

Hey there, sorry to bring this old thread back up, but I am wondering if you accepted the GPAS offer and worked there last summer. I am very interested in how your experience was there.
