Equivalent second year IBD would be $80K base + 75-80K bonus. So this is still slightly less, but the gap only really opens up at the senior level.

-What was your first year base salary? -What sector are you in? Hot sector?
For context I am starting ER as an Assc fultime this summer.
I moved over from IB, so I didn't do a first year associate. I did 1.5 years BB banking then moved.
Decently hot sector, and I work for an II ranked analyst.
Semi-related question: I heard CS research didn't even get bonuses last year. Is there any truth to this?
