Prestige vs. Learning Internship

Is it better to go for a Brand Name internship over a less "prestigious" one where I would learn more? I have an offer for a F50 Corporate Strategy/Business Development Internship, but definitely not a "sexy" company, and most people might not be familiar with it.. The good part is that I would be actually doing M&A work/modeling..
On the other hand, I also have another opportunity where I am pretty confident I could get an offer. Its a top 10 asset Manager (think fid, Putnam, wellington), but its Middle Office at best. Would be doing finance work, but not directly investing or equity research.. But its definitely a more well known/prestigious company, and I could definitely spin it to show my interest in finance.
Thoughts on which one would be the most versatile/helpful in the long run? Or am I overthinking this too much...?

its a f50 company but I would likely be working for a subsidiary of the parent company.. I.e Lockheed Martin but working for Sikorsky (except my company is less well known), which is why I think many people in the industry (especially HR) would't be familiar with it, while "Summer Investment Analyst" or something like that at T.Rowe/Fidelity would be much "sexier" and would definitely jump out on a resume.. Thoughts? Appreciate all the advice though, and also I'm not 100% set on IB otherwise it would be a no-brainer..

You previously said it's middle office? Is it investing or is it middle office? Do not put a bullshit title on your resume, once your resume makes it in front of a banker they'll recognise your experience is not that of an investment summer analyst and it will instantly call into question the integrity of your entire application.

You seem pretty set on "prestige". Middle office even at a big fund is not that prestigious.

And unfortunately, I don't think i'd get a ton of references/connections for IB. Everyone at the f50 is from random tier 3 state schools (even in corp dev ) and its located in a very rural area in the midwest. I'd stick it out for a summer if it will set me up later, but being in a major city and getting a Fidelity on the resume is pretty convincing as well.....
