WSO,

A lot of guys I know including me are not naturally good with women. Even though we are easy going guys. Today, I will share a small insight which will really help you with the ladies and other people in general.

Note: If you are naturally good with women you may want to skip this:

--
I still cant forget what my mentor (MD at BB) said to me one day.
We were at a bar and I was super bummed out as I didn't receive a single FT offer.

*out of nowhere*
mentor: You're not good with women are you?
*sipping his drink*
me: How do you know?
*dafuck expression*
mentor: Because you're not very personable with people. When I first met you I thought you were an asshole.
me: Really?
--

After this incident I asked a couple of people who know me what their first impression about me was, and no one had anything good to say.

What I realized that day was that even if you are an easy going person, no one will know that until or unless as they say you break the proverbial ice. In any conversation with a stranger, there is always that moment after where you can take a sigh of relief and open up. But always remember that YOU have to be the first one to "break the ice".

Why "you" per say? Well its because people are intimidated by "you". Yes, i know it sounds strange. But if people don't naturally approach you its because they are a little daunted by you. So you have to make the effort and just say "Hi my name is ________" with a warm smile.

Let me know how it goes.

With all the recent stories of WSO guys getting raped with a divorce, not sure it is a good idea to break the ice.

bhahahaha, i think your problems lie a little deeper than breaking the ice my friend.

Sounds like a severe case a douchebagitis. Also, why the hell did you post it here?

This is actually good advice for some people, not all of whom are assholes. Oftentimes shy or quiet people aren't naturally friendly and get unfairly pegged as assholes when they may be really nice people.

things i've learned about women since i moved out of my parents house last year:
    1. Its a percentage game
    2. dont allow a girlfriend to slowly move her belongings into your house
    3. smile with your eyes and they can't keep up their defences for long
    4. tactfully be touchy feely
    5. respond to text messages in a flurry and then disappear for a few days
    6. go to the gym
    7. find out what she is into and do research about it (but maybe that is just the consultant in me manifesting itself lol)
