Bridgewater Associates - Life of high-level software development?

Does anyone have any information on the life of high-level software development guys at Bridgewater. I am inquiring as to the life-style/comp as a experienced software developer (think someone with undergrad and grad degrees from MIT, and about four years work experience at a top-notch corporate software development company (think Microsoft).

I realize this fourm is more geared toward the analyst-side of the business and not development, but I thought you guys might be able to provide some good color on this subject regardless. Specifically I am interested in how the hours would differ from the corporate side as well as the compensation and any qualitative aspects of the job that you might know of.

Thanks very much for any feedback you might have...

x13,

Thanks for the input. You think its safe to say that pay in the technology-side of Bwater is more heavily weighted toward salary and less towards bonus? i.e if analyst comp is 100/70/170(salary/bonus/total), tech associate might be like 110/20/130 or something like that? That would be my assumption given the nature of the job...

Also, would say that it is probably safe to assume that one would make at least a decent percent more at Bwater tech than in a corporate position (holding seniority constant in both)?
