Businessinsider is a Joke

I just stumbled across this post on Businessinsider, regarding "Business terms every MBA should know" and wanted to jab my pen into my eye after reading 1/10th of it. Looks like the "author" pulled it off Forbes (which basically iterated that no one should ever use these phrases), but apparently they did not read the whole article as well.

Media publishes stuff for clicks/reads/publicity. They rarely publish useful stuff.

It's like when you see those experts on CNBC - they talk to bring in views, not to give you any good advice.

Baby you're the perfect shape, baby you're the perfect weight. Treat me like my birthday, I want it this way and I want it that way. It makes a man feel good baby.

I'm just realizing that Business Insider was taken seriously by anyone. I literally thought it was the unfunny sister of the Onion. They have based a few articles on a few postings from WSO in the last couple of months. HARD CORE JOURNALISM.

It's more entertainment than news.

BTW, the fact that your asking this question indicates that your not a true nerd.
[in reply to Tony Snark"]Why aren't you blogging for WSO and become the date doctor for WSO? There seems to be demand.

[in reply to Tony Snark's dating tip] Sensible advice.
