Can an offer be revoked if....

Upon submission of your transcript, the company does not like your performance in certain classes? My first couple semesters in college I was irresposible, I will admit that (I was more worried about playing club rugby and partying). I did poorly (think 2.0) in several of my classes, unfortunately several being my math courses.

My junior year I swtiched into Finance and have been doing extremely well ever since, hense the reason I am landing interviews. My resume has my current major GPA and my overall business GPA listed. Im just worried that if I receive an offer they will see my transcript and say "Wow, a 2.0 in calc, what the hell?" and revoke the offer... But clearly I have a quantitative mindset, as I am succeeding in my major which is highly quantitative.

What are your thoughts, can they revoke the offer based soley on certain classes? Thanks

As long as your resume

As long as your resume corresponds with the grades on your transcript, you are saying the truth and I don't think you have a reason to worry..

Hey, it's certainly

Hey, it's certainly possible, but very unlikely. As I and others have posted before, HR glances over transcripts to make sure you're enrolled in school and have not been suspended or have any other blemishes. They're not going to compare it to your resume submissions or knit pick through all of your class grades. You've got the offer - relax and enjoy.

Agree with T73

If your transcript matches your resume, you won't have any problems, so long as you didn't claim in an interview that you got all A's in math. You'll be fine.

Well my resume has my major

Well my resume has my major (Finance) GPA and my overall Business GPA... However, being that I spent 3 years in pre-med, my Cumulative GPA (which will appear on my transcript) is different than my Business GPA... Its stated pretty clearly on my resume, so hopefully there is no confusion. Its only a 0.2 difference, but still large enough in my opinion, and probably most peoples. Thank you for all of your thoughts

how do you spend 3 years in

how do you spend 3 years in pre med? its 16 credits! but yea as long as you didnt say it was your cum you should be fine, I did pretty much exactly what you did and I'm fine. good luck this summer!

Well, first tow years I took

Well, first tow years I took all the chems and then orgos, and bio 1 and 2, and all this other lame ass stuff. Then my third year I was still a human bio major, taking things like psych, physio, but also took my first accounting and econ courses. After realizing I was better in business, i applied for our business school. was accepted my senior year, now Im a fifth year about to graduate. And pre-med is such a loose term, cus there really is no such major. I was a Human Biology major, with a second focus in physiology (my school does not give out minors).

Premed just 16 credits? Calc

Premed just 16 credits?
Calc 1+2=8
Bio 1+2=8
Chem 1+2=8
Orgo 1+2=8
Physics 1+2=8
1 upper level course=3

43!=16

Highly unlikely

I've seen people get offers revoked but never for something like that... that would be really strange. You didn't lie about anything, and you didn't claim to have done really well across the board or anything.

If this is for a summer internship it's especially unlikely as they are more lax about checking transcripts for those.

I wouldn't worry about it, I've only seen offers get revoked for outright lying and other special situations.
