Can I include this in my CV - EFA's 41st Annual Meeting invitation?
Hi guys,
So here's the deal.
I recently completed a 6 month offcycle internship with UBS. A few months after it ended, I got an email saying that as the Global Partner of the European Finance Association (EFA), UBS is proud to invite Master and PhD students to a unique part of the EFA's 41st Annual Meeting held in Lugano, Switzerland.
Since there was a limited number of seats and it seemed like an awesome networking opportunity (even though my goal isn't to work in Academia as of today, but who knows, you never know you can meet...), I applied right away and had to send my CV. A few days later, I got the confirmation that I was invited. Now I am not sure if they made a real selection or just took the first people that applied that had a master/phd. I received a real nice invitation by mail with a train ticket already paid.
Anyhow, I did a bit of research on the association and found out that this is a very exclusive event and that only a limited number of people can go (it also costs a hell of a lot to go..)
Can I put this under my work experience or extracurricular section in my CV or is this not a good idea?
If you've got a line to spare on your resume, why not
Yeah I think I can fit it.
Under what section would you include it? Work experience? Extra curricular?
