Can You Answer This Estimation Question?
So I have this sample estimation question for all you aspiring consultants as well as those already working in consulting. Here it goes:
When I was listening to my recording of Pathetique 1st movement today, I was really amazed by my piano skill, and then I started to wonder, how many people out there in this world are comparable with me, in terms of piano skill. Can you help me figure that out?
Additional information provided upon relevant questions:
1. Assuming 6 billion world population.
2. Defining "comparable skill" as capable of playing the whole movement in a presentable manner.
3. URL to a live performance on YouTube:
Expectations:
1. Present your logic and approach in a clear and brief way upfront.
2. Use proper assumptions and demonstrate reasonable common sense.
3. Estimation should get to the right order of magnitude.
4. 5 min time limit.
Can we assume that the YouTube is only an example and not you?

So I typed so much to post a thread in this very specialized forum just to rack up a random 2008 video's view count? How about let's focus on the estimation itself =)
What makes you think that
(a) you play the Pathétique to an acceptable standard (n.b. the correct spelling, which stands in contrast to the mauled version you posted above; what extraordinary hubris to think that you, in fact do, unless you're a concert pianist who has - like the venerable interpreters of Beethoven's piano reportoire - has studied the piece for a life time
(b) it is possible for you, or I, or anyone, to demarcate with any precision "acceptable" from "non acceptable" renditions.
