I was going to ask the same question @BullMkt. I have a phone-interview scheduled and was looking for any knowledge or background on the firm, types of technicals/case questions they might ask, and any pointers. Thanks ahead of time.
Goodluck with the process @BullMkt
I just finished my interview. It was a behavior, over-the-phone interview. She asked the basic resume questions, no technicals. Good luck on yours! @papertrail44
Awesome. Kind of a relief to hear the phone interviews are less technical. I'm thinking the on-site interviews will be case-type problems so that buys me some time to prep.
Hopefully yours went well @BullMkt
Hey there. I received a phone invitation last Friday, but haven't heard anything back since. Did they speak about the ATP at all?
They did for me, but it wasn't in-depth.
Cool. How long does it take for them to reach out and have the interview? A few days/weeks/months?
It should be pretty much straight forward. As an associate, they dont require you to have much business experience. What they look for is pure analysts (those who have good excel and powerpoint skills, interest in finance and the markets, educational background and can fit into the culture of the firm).
As usual, it depends on the interviewer. You may get someone who is laxed and just want to make sure you have a brain on your shoulders or someone who wants to try to ask you those ridiculous "consulting" questions.
My suggestions are to show interest in the company (ask about new deals/projects), have firm understanding of financial services, show eagerness to work and learn and have personality and you will be fine.
So is this place legitimate or is it just "body shop" like what 3/4 of the reviews on Glassdoor say?
The interview process for ATP is a complete joke and 1 should question their viability in the corporate world if you can't get an offer. I've given ATP interviews and if you consider any ?s technical then you'd shit your pants during a McKinsey interview. Have to question whether the skills are transferable.
Ultimately, it's a resume killer and you'll have to do a whole lot of window dressing for this spot on your resume.

I was invited to interview for CAPCos associate talent rotational program. The website is kinda hard to navigate and somewhat vague as to what they really do. Would this be a good path to enter out of college? What type of opportunities down the road and salary would i expect.
Also, does anyone know anything bout the interview process or what is invovled? Any help would be great. thanks again

Capco is a consultant for the financial services industry. I believe it is a outsourcer and nearsourcer of middle and back office functions such as IT/fixed income documentation/trade support. It's an okay job to be in and gets pretty close to finance as it is basically middle office, but its not what everyone on this website is shooting for.
The reason why Capco's website is so vague is because the work that you will be doing will be so specific and the skills are almost untransferable that its impossible to describe.
