Career Advice Help

Hi Monkeys
I am in need of some serious advice.
I have been reading this forum for a while and seeing the pertinence of the advice given , i have decided to ask for your help.

My situation:
I work at a major investment bank in the back office doing business analyst in information technology division, (2 years of work experience)
I have been thinking about changing job because of lack of career progression(small team, politics) and thanks to the mergersandinquisition article about 7 reasons not to work in the back office.
I am interested in moving to consulting. Received an offer from PwC financial services, however i am a bit scared as i am interested in management consulting (got dinged by McKinsey, BCG ,bain still on the process) . After much research and questions still not sure they do management consulting. On the salary aspect they pay much less , much less than when i started in banking. Any input on PwC financial services will be appreciated.
I have been thinking about going for an mba, but as admission is not a sure thing for MBA business schools">m7 or Insead level schools, i am afraid to be stuck in my career considering my age.
Should i move to PwC and then try to network my way to MBB or just wait at my current job and apply for mba?
I am considering applying this year for some schools (Booth, Kellogg, MIT,Haas, LBS ) and next year for Insead.
Afraid that my lack of experience and age might play negatively against me on the MBA admissibility.
I am losing sleep over this.

Background:
African, 29 yo, i know i am a bit old (i changed majors and had to restart from scratch) . I live in Asia, graduated with a master degree in computer sciences from a top school from the place i live. However just got a decent gpa 3.4 (i put knowledge acquisition over grades and took some classes i should not had taken, regretting now ...)
Speak fluently 3 languages.

Any advice in terms of options , strategy for my career will be warmly welcomed.
