CBRE Global Corporate Services
I am wondering whether this is a good entry point into the Commercial Real Estate Industry. From my understanding you are put on a specific client and you work from the client site. You work on managaing the portfolio and possible transactions.
Would like to be involved in Development/Acquistions eventually.
Any Info is appreciated
UMM, Yeah dude. CBRE is tops in commRE
Yee. CBRE is the tits.
Anyone else with a more in depth analysis....is there a risk in being pigeon holed?
It's not a bad start if you're trying to get into RE. That being said it's more accounting and management focused as opposed to being deal oriented. There isn't a lot of access to types of firms you would be looking to go to on the acq/dev side either, so you would have to network in from other avenues.
I've also heard that there are a lot of internal issues going on with the group. Poor management and lots of turnover. I know of one of their larger clients that has had three different account managers in the past 12 months.
