congrats!
I passed today too which makes me 3/3. BOOM!
Passed!
Huge THANK YOU to the WSO community. I'm not the brightest or hardest working person, but I was able to go 3/3 in 18 months largely due to the motivation I got from this website. If anybody has CFA/study questions I'd be happy to help!
would you be up for doing a CFA test AMA/Q&A ? message me and we can schedule it up for the frontpage
@"AndyLouis"
Sorry for taking so long to respond... lot's of celebrating this past week.
I'd be happy to contribute something that may help others and give back to WSO. To be honest I feel a little unqualified to do some kind of front page AMA type thing since those are typically done by people way smarter and more accomplished man me. I could write something up tho.. maybe like a timeline of how I study and what I find most helpful? I could post it in this thread & try to answer any questions when I have time.
Congrats all! Can't wait to be in those shoes next year, ready to be done with all this sht
do you mean these shoes?

Passed! Highest score I've gotten out of all three levels. I am definitely surprised.
congratulations!
Passed it, 3/3 18 months
Dr. Seuss, CFA... well after work experience, lol. Congrats everyone that made it, and to everyone that didn't- keep your head up and you'll get em next time.
Congrats. You are all gentlemen and scholars. I also went 3/3 in 18 months. Just pumped to be done. We never have to look at those mediocre women again on the covers feigning excitement as they look down at their blank BAII+s. Now I just have to find 3 people to pay off to serve as references!
HAHA!! I actually didn't mind the broad on the L3 schweser this year. Mature-aged women are my achilles heel.
outstanding work gents
Cries, CFA* (pending 1yr of work experience) lol
18months here as well. Would echo Ricky's comments above.
CFAI approved all of my work experience, including 3 internships. Because of the internships, I meet the 48months requirement and am now done with this thing. I was expecting them to reject the internship experience, but submitted them anyways. Surprise.
Lesson learned: dont forget to include internships! (yes, I clearly indicated they were internships)
Hey congrats man. Don't forget to celebrate!
bugger....should have done more internships
Passed as well. One word - relief.
Any tips on how to pass Levels 2 and 3 on your first try?
Just study before and after work. I left practice exams till the last week or two. And don't study on weekends - it's the only way to stay sane!!!
Congrats to all!!! I also just passed L3: 3/3 in 18 months!!!
For Level 3, you should ideally start doing your practice exams at least a month before the exam so you get a feel for the constructed response section and prepare accordingly.
Congratulations!
Passed L3 and when I logged into CFAInstitute.org my name in the top right already said Stuckey, CFA. They weren't messing around making it official on the website. Congrats to all else who passed!!
Congrats all! Can't wait to be in your shoes soon...Level I in December!
congrats
Congrats mate, glad to hear that you're finished. Am looking forward to the day that I can hopefully say the same
congrats, good job, guess you all feel free now...
CFA? lol
gud luck
Congrats!!! Hope I'll be able to say the same next summer...
Congrats to everyone that passed!
For the guys who just completed the journey...would you recommend studying for L1 second semester of senior year considering the light course load?
I have heard mixed things from people who have taken it, but mostly that it doesnt matter how quickly you get it done considering the 4 years of work experience (by quickly I mean starting 6 months early)
Passed 3/3 18 months here as well, and need another years worth of work experience lol. But that part I can gladly work toward.....on to the next thing.
Passed. Maybe a little jaded from a career search that went on a lot longer than expected...but wasn't as excited as I thought I would be to be honest.
Just wondering as a noob...how can you pass in 18 months if level 2 and 3 are only offered once a year? Unless that has changed? Congrats to those who passed!!
You take L1 in December, then 6months later take L2, then 1 year later take L3, so that's 18months. It doesn't take into account for studying for L1.
Congratulations to you and every single monkey passing the L3 this year!
