Sorry for taking so long to respond... lot's of celebrating this past week.

I'd be happy to contribute something that may help others and give back to WSO. To be honest I feel a little unqualified to do some kind of front page AMA type thing since those are typically done by people way smarter and more accomplished man me. I could write something up tho.. maybe like a timeline of how I study and what I find most helpful? I could post it in this thread & try to answer any questions when I have time.

Cries, CFA* (pending 1yr of work experience) lol

18months here as well. Would echo Ricky's comments above.

UPDATE!

CFAI approved all of my work experience, including 3 internships. Because of the internships, I meet the 48months requirement and am now done with this thing. I was expecting them to reject the internship experience, but submitted them anyways. Surprise.

Lesson learned: dont forget to include internships! (yes, I clearly indicated they were internships)

Just study before and after work. I left practice exams till the last week or two. And don't study on weekends - it's the only way to stay sane!!!

Congrats to all!!! I also just passed L3: 3/3 in 18 months!!!

For Level 3, you should ideally start doing your practice exams at least a month before the exam so you get a feel for the constructed response section and prepare accordingly.

Congrats mate, glad to hear that you're finished. Am looking forward to the day that I can hopefully say the same

Congrats to everyone that passed!

For the guys who just completed the journey...would you recommend studying for L1 second semester of senior year considering the light course load?

I have heard mixed things from people who have taken it, but mostly that it doesnt matter how quickly you get it done considering the 4 years of work experience (by quickly I mean starting 6 months early)

Passed 3/3 18 months here as well, and need another years worth of work experience lol. But that part I can gladly work toward.....on to the next thing.
