CFA1 help with boutique?

Mentioned in previous posts, I'm currently an algebra teacher. I currently live in a rural town, where there are no IBD shops nearby, and my contract ends in June. My fiancé just finished her undergraduate in healthcare administration and is applying for positions in cities that have IBD shops galore.

How awesome would it be if land a boutique job wherever we move? I'm curious, if I pass the CFA level 1 this upcoming June, as my contract ends, will this help me at least land an internship?

Or would I be better off studying the GMAT and focusing on getting into an MSF program?

Just look at very small pwm firms or corporate banking jobs because you have a minute chance to land a IB ft job or SA intern. Do try to reach out to the IB banks in Miami and Orlando, these have analysts from u of Miami working there, and FSU > u of Miami in all aspects. The only caveat is that your not in college anymore, you probably lost a lot of knowledge by now.

To answer your question yes.. Level 1 of the CFA is practically a college degree in itself imho, I was a double major and probably learned more from studying for that.. But less than I did reading books on my own over the course of my college career

Overwhelming grasp of the obvious.
