Career Resources
define top
Getting into a top tier program requires all the "right stuff," some of which you have listed and some not. GMAT scores are important as are short and long term goals and an overall career vision which is compelling and leverages your experience. Div-1 athlete is a plus, since it helps you stand out especially since you pulled off a 3.9 GPA. I would say if you can articulate your vision well and write compelling essays, you definitely should have a shot at a top tier school.
it's not enough to classify as target or non-target. A 3.9 GPA at some non-targets is impressive given your D1 athletics, at others unfortunately, it's not. what's your gmat?

define "semi-known". also, looks like you'll have, what, 1-2 yrs of WE when applying?
I am going to begin studying for the GMAT now. I am expecting to apply with 2-3 years WE when I do it and my school is comparable to Fairfield/Quinnipiac. Thank you all for your insight thus far.
