"Circle Up" Meaning
Hey guys..
I was conversing with a banker and the following was said, "Lets circle up closer to next week" in the context of meeting up for coffee.
Can someone clarify what "Circle Up" means?
The two options I can think of are:
1) Meet up before next week
2) Arrange a specific meeting time at a later point in the future (before next week)
Thanks
It's just a saying. It just means meet back up.
'Touch Base' is the same thing. Just a new trendy way of saying it. Sales guys use this lingo all the time.
Yeah, it just means to check in again. It is less severe, but still cringe-worthy cousin of "circle back."
I'm surprised he didn't say he'd ping you after he got his ducks in a row.
To answer your question, he probably meant #2.
dont spin your wheels trying to figure out what he meant
Damn, that sucks. I hope you have the necessary bandwidth.
Regards
OP, he likely has a lot of wood to chop, and given capacity constraints will need to push this request back... but the meeting itself should be down to brass tacks. No need to put lipstick on this thing as he's probably just looking for high level stuff.
Respect...
It means you've got an elephant walk coming up.
this thread is making me self conscious
it is very similar to a circle-jerk but with some slight variations
U no speaky english? Social fluency is a must in finance brochacho
net net, he probably is more concerned whether or not on a go-forward basis your meeting with him will force him to take ownership of your candidacy.
It is what it is I guess.
At the end of the day, let's not reinvent the wheel, right?

probably get together in a circle and sing hymns and share folklore stories.
he meant number 2.
