Right here w/ you man. I have a gig w/ Citi as well and have no clue when this test is coming.
Hey man, could you tell me what kinda test you had to take?
I feel u man
Much closer to the start date. Call it roughly 1 month ahead. Don't be morons and "time" stuff.
If you're worried about pot it can stay in your system for up to 90 days. If you really want the job it'd be wise not to do anymore.
You've secured an offer; don't fuck it up, even if the chance of them catching you is 0.0001%. Or switch to hard drugs, they leave your system in less than a week =0
New Hire Processing: In the coming weeks, you will be receiving information via email on completion of your New Hire Processing. This will include online forms as well as your New Hire Processing Appointment. You will be required to complete a drug test and fingerprinting 30 days prior to your start
You'll have to submit a drug test within 30days of starting. If you're "out of the country" during this time frame, then you have to take one during the first week up in nyc
I will take your job you dope smoking hippie.
In case you're curious (I was), their drug test is just urine.
But in all honesty, if you are going to make it on the Street you're going to need to kick marijuana (if that's what it is). It does not mesh with the lifestyle.
Tell that to Jimmy Cayne
@Snickers
Are you really suggesting anyone should aspire to be jimmy cayne? The same Cayne who ran BS into the ground, lost 95% of his wealth, and is widely considered one of the worst CEOs of all time...?
Hope you're being sarcastic.
you're absolutely right, Coke is much better than weed for getting shit done
...not sure of this is sarcastic...many very successful people on wall st smoke weed. I also wouldnt worry about the drug test...there are commercially available masking agents and i have literally never heard of someone losing a job due to testing positive for marijuana which leads me to believe that they really dont care. So take precautions but i would bet that they afrent even really checking.
It is much better smoking a joint form time to time than being addicted to LEGAL prescription drugs (like so many in the U.S have become) peddled by doctors getting kickbacks from pharma corps. It is amazing that in this day and age so many people are still up in arms and judgmental about something as innocuous as cannabis when there are so many much worse drugs circulating through the legal channels.
Happy 420 everyone.
Prolly in may
Or you could just not do coke. It is terrible for you and you will not be as functional as you think you will be. Just abstain from drugs in general so you don't OD.
Doing too much of anything ain't good. A joint's not bad once in a while ;)
what about Credit Suisse
Sorry to ask this a year later but i have an interviewed scheduled and i was wondering what type of drug test it was. I know someone said Urine but is that for sure?
Maybe try not doing drugs
Agreed. I did it once for my last spring break. if it is Urine it won't be a problem because I'm not a smoker but if its hair i heard it goes back 3 months and can detect it even if it was a small amount.
Maybe try not being a fucking ass hat!
incoming s&t SA, was wondering when we find out our placements? anyone know a timeframe??? start date in less than a month.....
^ they tell us the first week
for ft you schedule your own drug test. just have to take it before you show up the 1st day. can't speak for sa. and yes it's urine for ft at least. i imagine sa is the same
Citi drug test/ background check? (Originally Posted: 05/05/2015)
Anyone get notified when we need to get a drug test/ background check for summer internship?
Yeah the test was due like last week I'm pretty sure. I think they sent the email out early April
What's with all these Citi drug test topics?
Where are they holding their OCR?
Can confirm that you can take the drug test basically up until the week before you start for Citi. Some banks have earlier deadlines but I know that Citi's can be done very last minute, it just has to be in and processed before you start - the official deadline is probably earlier, but a lot of people don't have testing centers near them at university and have to wait until they get home to do it, just be communicative with HR. It's a 5 panel urine test, so it'll check for THC/marijuana, opiates, amphetamines, methamphetamines and phencyclidine (PCP/other hallucinogens). So everything college students use recreationally except for like, benzos. Study drugs that aren't prescribed to you will show up under amphetamines so be careful if you use those. Stop smoking ASAP to be absolutely positive it's out of your system, that varies a lot from person to person and your usage, and give any stimulants at least a week (preferably two, let's be real, you don't wanna be the one outlier) to flush out even though they're notorious for being out in 2-3 days.
Does anyone know when the Citi drug test takes place, as HR has not reached out to me?
Very likely in June, close to the start of your internship. You're supposed to schedule it yourself. Also, check your offer letter, sometimes details about when the drug test is/needs to be completed by are in there.
