CMA Designation in IBD?
I just read about the CMA designation - certified management accountant. The curriculum seems pretty finance relevant. I'm wondering if I should try to get it if my goal is to enter IBD after my undergraduate degree.
Is it any good?
Thanks.
lol.
It’s for finance and accounting people working for regular corporations (walmart / lockheed martin). It's not really for capital markets positions. Here's my (largely uninformed) take on the CMA: It's a decent accounting credential for people who don't have the 24 accounting credits needed for the CPA in most states.
