Columbia Private Equity Program

I was recently looking at MBA programs and came across Columbia's Private Equity Program and it seemed very interesting.

Is it even worth while to base your MBA choice on such programs? Has anyone in the forum attended this program? Do you have, or have you heard any feedback? Do PE shops find students who attended specialized programs attractive? What are other good private equity MBA programs?

Thanks in advance,

D.R.

No, pretty much all top 20 Bschool have some version of PE/VC offerings. I don't think it should be a deciding factor. If you're interested in PE, perhaps looking into which schools have better PE recruitment or alumni in PE would be a better way going about it.
