Corporate banking/Transaction banking/FICC sales at S&T
I know that S&T covers funds but i heard some of them also covers corporations (hedging their interest rate/exchange rate risk). So what are the difference between these three besides the salary?
Thanks!
Salary most likely wouldn't be different covering institutional vs. corporate. For your hedging example, there would likely be a subgroup within the bank's FX Sales group that is dedicated to corporates.
Thanks for the reply. So if corporates are covered by fx sales team, what is the role of corporate bankers/transaction bankers here
Btw, I did some googling and I found this link :http://www.linkedin.com/jobs2/view/49841260?trk=jserp_job_details_text The job description is similar to corporate sales but it is under IBD Financing. So does it belong to DCM?
So what does Corporate banking/Transaction banking/DCM/FICC Sales exactly do in a FX transaction?
