Corporate finance certificate (Georgetown) and/or CFA viable options for entree into finance ?
I was a medical student for a time and would now like to transition to work in finance.
Someone suggested I get a certificate in finance. How would this be viewed by recruiters?
I would like to limit my search to DC, but if there is a better program in New York I should consider let me know
Georgetown University (I assure you I am not a shill for the program) has a certificate program in corporate finance. The site itself says the courses are a good basis for those who want to take the CFA. Classes meet a few evenings a week from September to December. The prep course I wanted to take for the CFA starts in the evenings in January. What do you think of the relative merit of the program.
