Could I include this on my resume?

I'm in the process of applying to various small summer finance (consulting and IBD) gigs. I don't have a strong background in quantitative analysis, but recently accepted a finance/ data analysis internship for a local, rather large, nonprofit. It's obviously not gonna be the same as what these places I'm applying to will do, but the responsibilities are pretty huge in terms of the political clout and funding they would get from the data that I have to sort through and analyze. Aside from creating spreads for the budget, I'll be analyzing trends in the development projects they have done. That being said, it would be harder to claim clear results since I'm doing this during the spring semester.

Should this be put on the resume at all or left out? It's definitely experience I would have attained by the time I do a job in summer 2015.

Thanks!. Not quite sure what you mean by "real job". I've had various jobs relevant to policy but this is the first one I'd have that focuses more on numbers, if that's what you mean.
