credit analyst for pension asset manager
Considering interviewing for a fixed income trading desk at a $50-$100Bn AUM pension asset manager focused on corporate credit.
I have a background in credit structuring, syndication, and underwriting - but I have no idea what to expect from a position like this one.
Can someone with insight please give me an idea of what the day-to-day might look like? What sort of "credit research" does this involve? What sort of fundamental analysis does this involve? How is relative value established in a position like this one (simply plugging data into a quant model, or what)? Are the skills transferable?
Thanks. SBs for useful responses or PMs.
