New email format at Credit Suisse? (Originally Posted: 04/12/2013)
I've tried to email two contacts there in the past week, the emails have bounced multiple times. Is CS doing something with their email, or did they both get laid off in the same week?
Been emailing a friend at CS and haven't noticed anything. Are they licensed? Check FINRA Broker Check to see where they registered now
I had no idea this existed, thanks!
Do you know their actual emails or are you going off the expected [email protected] format? A common structure includes the middle initial - [email protected] - this may be tripping you up.
It's CS; they were probably laid off.
They'e been firing excessively. Happened to me the other week to, but in Europe...
Condolences.
Companies change/add all the time, especially between divisions IE tech, wealth, and IB may have all different formats and change due to size of work force, consultants, temps, interns, layoffs (CS joke here) and increased with similar names. Executives change them routinely like passwords and socks.
[email protected] [email protected] [email protected] " " "@cs.com etc....
its literally a guessing game
Maybe he's also forgetting the "-" in "credit-suisse.com", like you are...
You can also try "@csg.com" if you're lazy. But not "@cs.com" as suggested above.
just check under "Professionals" tab in CapIQ, but i'm pretty certain its [email protected]

Hey guys,
so I have been cold emailing because I am in the midst of FT employment search (I know its pretty late).
I have tried the format for credit suisse which have been posted on the website several times which is : [email protected]
unfortunately if i use that format i get a message saying my email was not delivered. Is there a different format that i should follow for credit suisse?
thanks in advance guys.
Could be missing a middle initial if common name. You got 26 chances.
haha ya, i do. Thanks, might just have to do that
It also could be first.last.#@credit-suisse.com (for example [email protected]) if there are multiple people with that name there
It will either be First.Last@CS, First.MiddleInitial.Last@CS or First.Last#@CS if there are multple people there with the same name but not necessarily the same person.

This is the email structure for CS, correct?
but please, don't post such things here, grab your phone and...
why don't you just try it out and see if the email bounces back. seriously, we should have a stupid questions section.
i'm pretty sure it would be filled with your ridiculous posts about wearing express shirt to work and the like
My school email takes forever to bounce and I already tried every combo of @cs.com, @creditsuisse.com, etc that was possible. Was crunched for time man and went to verify (search yielded no results).
But I'm touched by the plethora of mundane comments.
Seriously.
yes its first.last, and i'm pretty sure either creditsuiise or credit-suisse works
Hey guys I'm too lazy to figure this out so I'll post on WSO.
I feel like being generous today... I can confirm that it is @credit-suisse.com.
Enjoy
