Critique of Resume with 1 year of Experience

Please help critique my resume in terms of formatting, job experience content, education etc.

My objective is to search for management consulting job opportunities within tier 2/ tier 1 consulting firms in non financial industries.

I would change "Implemented multi linear regression forecasting technique in Excel" to "Implemented forecasting model". Just seems more professional, when you say you did a regression in excel I tend to think you simply used built-in functionalities.

Important: I can read your name, address, e-mail and phone. Putting a black square over it still allow me to get the data. Would recommend you to replace data with placeholders (e.g. XXXX) to assure your privacy.

Nice resume

"I do not think that there is any other quality so essential to success of any kind as the quality of perseverance. It overcomes almost everything, even nature."

Thanks everyone for your comments! I have made all the changes that you have mentioned. However, I would like some suggestions on how I can make the leap from a Big 4 Advisory to a Management Consulting firm, particularly in terms of resume. What kind of content will attract a management consulting firm inside a resume? Sometimes I feel I get pigeon holed in a particular workstream in a Big 4 Advisory even though my interests lie beyond the finance industry but I am making best use of my opportunities to gain leadership experiences and show that I can do well in any industry. Does anyone have any similar experiences? Thank you everyone again.

So you want a company that does more strategy and traditional management consulting, such as MBB, LEK, OW, or ATK?

If that’s the case, the traditional advice is to go to business school and get an MBA. You could still apply for class of 2016, but would make more sense to fully prepare and submit applications next year for fall 2015 matriculation. Your background (academic and professional) is impressive. Given that, you should expect to be admitted to some top 10 programs, especially with your previous proven academic success.

Solid work. B-school will be the best way to get into a pure (if that actually exists) strategy shop. If not, I could definitely see this getting looks at Deloitte S&O - but the only problem is, it's very easy to get pigeon-holed there to based on previous experience and background. Worth a try, or stick it out for another year and just go to school, which you'll eventually want to do anyway most likely.
