Crude oil market analyst?
So I managed to get an interview for a market analyst position with an integrated E&P this week on pretty short notice, I'm no newbie to the industry but my experience is all upstream - does anyone have any good primers for the midstream sector? The role is to be the market analyst for the crude oil trading group for north america, so I need to refresh on all the Canada vs. US market characteristics, drivers, fundamentals, etc etc etc
Thanks fellas

Not a commodities person but my suggestion would be to check out the websites for the exchanges in each of the countries. They'll probably have quite a lot of detail on the microstructure of each market.
I cant seem to find my Refinery Economics pdfs that my friend in R&M sent me, but asking CaR is probably your best bet. He wrote these two posts:

I know Oil 101 has some Refinery/Finished products stuff but it probably just scratches the surface.
