Daily/ Weekly Newsletters
I am searching for some email newsletters that cover macroeconomic trends. Kind of like the daily dirt nap that I have seen posted here before but $600/yr is a steep price to pay for a daily email.
I currently subscribe to Harper's Weekly Review but that is more entertaining than informing.
Any recommendations?
A short and witty daily that I really enjoy is Paul Donovan's Daily Round-up from UBS. He's the Chief Economist at UBS and does a great job covering macro trends in a concise way. Link: https://www.ubs.com/global/en/wealth_management/chief-investment-office…
Thank you! this is what i was looking for
Econ Newsletters - Grant's, Roubini, Gartman, G&D etc. (Originally Posted: 03/28/2011)
I'm looking to trade my access to several proprietary economics newsletters in exchange for access to others, or sell-side research.
If you have access to a high profile econ newsletter (such as one of the ones mentioned in the title), please respond. I will trade you my access and we can set up an ongoing exchange.
I'll trade Gartman or Dave Rosenberg for Roubini.
i have some of those but i would recommend john mauldin, which is free. Good stuff...in my former life a lot of my buyside guys read him.
Unfortunately, Dave Rosenberg free trial ends in two days. Its going up to a grand per year.
I get Gartman and currently have access to some decent sell side research (Equity Research for practically every company, just not macro research), which I'd be willing to trade for Grant/Roubini or Rosenberg (once he starts charging)
Okay this sounds good. I already have Roubini so I can trade that. Once this thread fills out a bit more, I will message everyone that has something unique to contribute. Everyone who contributes will get access to everything (forwarded from the source and blind cc'd from an anonymous gmail account).
I subscribe to the GBD report but I wouldn't trade it.
I have sell side research (equity, macro, fixed income, EM) I'd be willing to trade for gartman
Still looking for Grant's. Anyone?
Dear Bankers,
Which periodic reports/newsletters do you actively follow -
For example -
1) http://www.behindthenumbers.com
2) Jeremy Grantham's Letter
3) Jim Grant IRO
4) Gartman Letter
(I do not follow them. I am a student right so cannot follow all of them. But plan to.)
Please share your favorite ones.
Bump. I have access to gartman and sell-side research from morgan stanley and BAML. I also have access to some commodity research from barclays and a few others. I would be very interested in doing a swap for roubini or something else that's really good.
You could try emailing Roubini. He responds sometimes.
I have sell-side research from most BBs (GS, MS, BAML, CS) through themarkets.com and very interested to trade for Gartman & Rosenberg, pm me if interested, thanks.
I have Roubini (is this RGE?) - looking for Grant or Rosenberg.
