BB PWM is better than nothing. I think you should finalize that internship and start focusing on getting a part-time banking internship for fall. If you can nail that down before the summer is over, and you have decent GPA/ECs, you will at least get interviews.
let's rephrase
a BB PWM internship is better than Most Things you'll be fine getting interviews with a BB name on your resume come fall recruiting
enjoy junior spring.
Maybe you're right, but I was in the same situation - I did BB PWM my junior summer and then started at a boutique right before fall recruiting started. I only got 3-4 interviews (no BBs) and no offers. But I am also a CC transfer without a stellar GPA so maybe that made all the difference.
Did you network for full time? This is something I am going to do as well.
Yes, of course. Networking is key. Reach out to as many people as you can, alumni and non-alumni. All you need is that one person who would be willing to take a chance on you.
Wow. There is NOTHING wrong with PWM. Plenty of kids do the BB PWM -> IBD.
People here are just fucking prestige whores.
