Deutsche Bank Muni Capital Markets

Can anyone shed some light on what this group is like? Apparently it's a small group of about 20 or so and is split between NYC and Jacksonville.

Can anyone elaborate on the structuring aspect of municipal capital markets in general? How would the exit opportunities be?

DB does not underwrite municipal debt, but they apparently do do a lot of derivatives and overlays and alternative financing for municipalities. Not traditional muni bonds though.

The position is based in Jax. I know people say that Jax is mostly BO and MO but assuming this role is FO, how would working out of that office be for my future?

I did not go to a target by any means, so I'm not quite sure what other opportunities I would have at any BB firm.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you start with your long-term objectives. For most people, their long-term objectives are incongruent with underwriting, trading, and implementing derivatives in the muni market.

this sentiment is always very interesting. when one has options, one can be selective. but most are simply looking for a FO finance job that pays the bills and this position seem to fit the criteria.

how about you share some info (assuming you know) rather than giving bull shit responses such as the one above
