Difference between major and cumulative GPA
If there is a significant difference between my cumulative GPA (3.3) and major GPA (3.7) will BBs look down on this during recruiting season? Should I just list major? Or put it in bold on my resume?

I would list major GPA before you list cumulative, but not bold it or anything. For example: Major GPA: x.x/4.0; Cumulative GPA: x.x/4.0
Agreed, major before cumulative/overall. If you're a highly quantitative major, say, a physics or math major, and your overall is lower than your major GPA, I'd say they'd look favorably upon that. Similarly for moderate difficulty majors like economics and biology. But certainly not for easy majors like political science or anything ending in "studies." M&I has comments on this, I believe.
GPA Excluding Freshman Year:
not a single cuulative GPA was listed that day
what?
Major & Cumulative GPA on resume (Originally Posted: 12/12/2011)
I'm a sophomore at a semi-target. I currently have a 3.8 cumulative and a 3.9 major gpa. In this case, does it make any difference to list tmy major gpa? Rather, would it make any negative im[pressions? (seem like trying too hard?)
Pointless. 3.8 is good enough alone.
It won't hurt either way.

I was wondering if you were applying whether it would be beneficial to just list your major GPA on the resume or nothing at all. My cumulative GPA is a 2.8 (which obviously sucks) and since banks assume that your GPA is sub 3.0 if its unlisted it wouldn't really alter any perceptions if my GPA is not listed on the resume. But my major GPA is actually really high since I took most of my major credits outside of my semester in the hospital. I am a double major and my PubPol GPA is a 3.8 and my Econ really is neutral (3.4) and I was wondering if I could just list my PubPol GPA on my resume and no cum, or if it would be better to list all majors, an aggregate major gpa, major and cum gpa, or nothing at all. My work experience is ok for a sophomore (A/R and A/P at a small construction company) and as said in the past I cannot really say anything about my health issues because they are still present and will affect me in the future. I will be applying to smaller firms at hopes of landing a small boutique internship (HF, consulting, IB, PE essentially anything in this finance area). I also go to a non-Ivy target.
Given the drastic differences, I'd just list your major G.P.A. Some places will drop you once they find out your real GPA, but that's better than getting rejected pre-interview.
As long as you clarify in interviews its your major GPA, it's fine.
