Do any UK non-target students want to give inspiring anecdotes?

>at 100 % non-target, no extra curriculars
>applied for all the big bank summer internships in s&t
>been rejected from two big places, whatever
>got phone interview from a well known UK bank

Oh lord I ****ed it up so badly and it was only a competency interview. I gave nervous muddled answers for almost everything*. I've only had one previous phone interview for a spring week, which I messed up at the very start and then did alright on for about 30 minutes. This interview ended after like 15 minutes.

How many interviews did you get if you were a non-target?

How much of your competency answers are made up?

*Which is weird because I gave a presentation to strangers a few days before and felt zero pressure.

UK non-target here, i ended up interviewing for BX M&A (no network), i fucked it up at 2nd round, just caved under pressure - besides the point. But honestly, anything can be done.
